Dragonfly tyre pressure’s
« on: 27 Feb 2023 at 17:10 »
Hi all just a quick question are the tyre pressure’s quoted in the maintenance manual correct for modern tyre’s as in 18 psi in the front and 22 psi in the rear just this seams a bit soft to me.

Cheers Kevin..

Hi Kevin

I've owned my Dragonfly for over 50 years and I use 22psi front and 24psi rear.

Those pressures still sound a little low.
I've never run modern type tyres with anything less than 26 psi in them, and a couple more psi in the back.
The sidewalls are softer these days - so rely on the pressure to give them some body....
