Ew 350 flooding with fuel
« on: 30 Nov 2014 at 04:28 »
Hello all
Started the EW 350 seems to have an over fueling problem
as when fuel is turned on seems to flood front cylinder very
easily, and seems to be over fueling when running, seems
rpm cannot handle amount of fuel delivered.
have had carby apart and seems to be ok what I can see
any suggestions or troubleshooting will be grateful.
On a positive note I must say it was great to hear the ol girl
running quite exciting still some work to do before riding, but
after restoring over the last six years to here her fire was a
great pleasure, looking forward to hearing from all you EW gurus.
Regards L B HILL

You should check that the sealing of the inlet manifold on the rear cylinder is good - as that can cause the front to run too rich. Also, of course, float levels and jet size should be checked.
