Michel,

It is a total loss oiling system (the oil never returns to the compartment), so you really cannot over fill it beyond it sloshing out from under the cap. You just keep topping it up to say within an inch of the fill opening as the engine consumes it. Not sure that I have ever seen a capacity mentioned, but it looks like the oil compartment would hold a pint and a half at most.

I read page 14 "The 1927 three fifty EW" manual :

"The front of the (fuel) tank has been formed into a bulk-head which will accommodate 3 pints of oil,...".

So I put +/- 1 liter (2 pints) and I'll ride this afternoon in the sun. Thank you for you reply, Doug.
