G'day all
I had a phonecall from a mate up north (North Tasmania) who has a restored CW for sale.
I have not seen the bike but I am told it is in nice "oily rag" condition and has been restored mechanically.
This has been a complete bike all its life and is not a swapmeet special.
He is taking it to a swapmeet at Burnie on Sunday so if anyone is interested they had better move quickly.
$8000 quoted......not sure if negotiable or not.

PS he also has a 1940 Norton for sale.....same money.

G'day all

I see it went off at $8378.
I bought a CW frame with forks still attached, tank (few holes but straight as a die), rear carrier and guard all with surface rust but very restorable last week........I have an engine in lovely condition....it's the model with the BTH generator timing cover. I have a few other CW bits towards it and would welcome anyone with any of the missing bits contacting me.
