Good evening all, is there enough info here to determine which forks there are here ? they appear to be early but when put next to what I believe to be an early stanchion they are too wide by an inch or so and the spindle holes are oversize.

Difficult to tell without side elevation, but could be 4HP forks

Hi John , try putting wheel sizes or a variation of that into the search bar,all sorts come up to follow through.

The forks do not look right for Douglas as they seem to be of round tubes, Douglas are oval, they could be Druid but I stand to be corrected on this. The Douglas Peace Programme booklet quotes the wheel & tyres as 26 x 2 1/4 . Hope this helps. Len.

Good evening , the tubes are oval and the closest I can come to with my limited knowledge and paperwork is for a 4HP 1915 and before. The threads appear to be Douglas funny ones but the forks are not parallel as shown in the 4 HP spares book.
