Oil Capacity Mark IV Sports

Hi Everybody,

I seem to be having problems with too much oil in my Mark IV Sports. I've looked through the handbooks that came with my bike and I can't find what the capacity should be. I have use the marks shown on the dip-stick as a guide but I am beginning to think that they may be inaccurate as I have a lot of oil in the left hand cylinder head/rocker box. Can someone point me in the right direction of the recommended capacity so I can start again from scratch.

My maintenance manual says 4 pints (2.27 lit.). You may also have a another problem; which I can't advise on. Good luck, Dave.
