Can anyone shed some light on what the thread is, on the bottom of the vertical rod(its 25TPI) in the gear linkage? Yes it a Douglas own thread etc?

Hi Gavin
Douglas use 5/16 and 17/64 both with 25tpi
The pre war spare have taps and die sets for these threads
Hope this helps

I ended up buying the 17/64 tap and die set from LDMCC, and now it's all fixed. Many thanks for replies and interest.
