Hi there,
DO any of the UK or European members know of a SMITHS Spedo repair company out there.. My spedo currently does not work at all, the spedo cable rotates but no movement on the dial itself...
Regards

Alex,
I can endorse what has been said by Brian. I have had several speedos refurbished by David Woods, and have found his work to be excellent.

Hi Alex.
You might consider having a go yourself! I found a most useful article reprinted from the magazine Motorcycle April 1992 on the following site
www.hells-confetti.com
A most unlikely name, it is in fact a site dedicated to the front wheel drive Alvis. Go to Technical data, Accessories, Jaeger instruments. It is pdf format worth having a look at.
Cheers Brian.
