Does anyone know who did the original water colors for the douglas ads and do any of the originals exist

The only artwork I can think of seeing signed is the aerial view of the offices and factory done in pastel, in the inside of the postwar brochure folder "Shipshape and Bristol Fashion". The artist was Whatley.  However the inserts showing each model are not signed, and seems to be of a different artist anyway. Normally the artwork is not credited, unless they borrowed an 'illustration' from The Motorcycle or Motor Cycling. 

No doubt some of the original artwork survives, hidden away in some private collection.
