Idea Of Weight Of 2 3/4
« on: 16 Jul 2007 at 02:38 »
Has anyone an idea of the weight of a Douglas TS 1918-25 . Obviously within this range there would be a difference from one model to another so a rough "guesstimate" would be great.
I would consider the weigt to be oil and fuel as well. Thanks for your time.

cheers Michael

Adverts from 1922 gives the basic 2-speed weight unladen as 175lbs, and the 3-speed with clutch as 196lbs. By 1925, the TS had crept up to 178lbs, and the all chain drive 3-speed CW as 198lbs.
