Douglas never offered a side stand for the Mark series. Many folk have contrived various arrangements, fabricating or adapting side stands from other marques. The LDMCC at one time even manufactured a design and sold them through their Spares service.

hi have not been here for a while but now getting my mk5 and t35ready for the road again did douglas ever produce a side stand and is so has anyone got any photo's of it info would be greatfully appreciated

I have been approached by a member of the public who is looking to sell the medal shown in the photos below. He is of the opinion that the medal is very rare and is looking for a figure of around £400. If anyone is interested in purchasing the medal or making an offer then would they like to contact me as the club secretary and I will put you in touch with the seller.

I'm looking for the slide seen in the bottom middle of the first image and the retaining ring in the bottom right corner of the same photo. The slide I have was broken at some point and should have an end that holds the cable stop as seen in the second photo. If anyone has any leads please let me know. Thanks, John
