Have you tried the new Drafts feature yet? I just lost a long message today and learned my lesson. It is a good idea to save a draft of any long post you are writing. You can then just keep writing and keep saving a draft, knowing you have a backup if there is a glitch. The draft is automatically deleted when you post the message.

After much grief I have finally got both the bikes firing regularly and one running wellish. The biggest problem I had was some arcing taking place inside the points between the spring and the centre brass point carrier. Has this happened to any one else? To solve it I used some heavy insulating tape between the two parts, but will look for some plasitc clip which can attch itself to the spring for a more permanent solution.
Also found a cam with distinctly worn lobes, does any one know what the oroginal profile should be like or is the build up a matter of a gentle ramp to open and then close? Cheers and thanks to All
