When taking photos with mobile/cell phones, please hold the phone horizontally if possible.
Our forum software does not read the orientation tag contained within the image properly yet.
It assumes that all photos have been taken with a camera or phone held horizontally.

So when attached to your post, they appear looking squashed and distorted.
We then have to manually rotate them to restore normal appearance.
It creates lots of work!

On the other hand, if you have images already taken vertically, go ahead and post them.
We don't want to discourage anyone from posting photos.

Members,

Please help us with this photo orientation issue.

It is enormously time consuming to have to continually rotate photos taken with mobile phones held vertically. Then other important forum maintenance work doesn't get done.

Please hold your phone HORIZONTALLY when taking photos.
