The history of the original is on the magazine photocopy displayed next to the machine, it also featured strutted forks. -Doug

I am unable to enlarge the text on the display with sufficient clarity to make it legible - can you elucidate please?

Unfortunately no.  I took a brief glance at the display board so know what it is about, but had not read it.  Nor does it show in any of the photos I took while the bike was on display at Brookland Relived in Sept. of 2005.  Some pictures of it on that day follow.  The last one shows the strutted forks.
