At least this one looks like it might be a runner! The first one looks pretty at first glance, but looking at the detail, I doubt it has run for a good few years - even the tank looks to be leaking. -------- and as for 'Serviced by a Classic Motorbike Specialist' !!!! ?????

The first one was sold at a Kapunda (South Australia) clearing sale 3 weeks ago for $15,000. It was in good original condition and was started on the day.  Probably just worth the $15,000 unless a wood duck comes along. I picked up a 1913 crankcase with crank and pistons that turned over for a much healthier price. Also got two 1920’s cases with cranks. (Swap for timing side gears or barrels).

Interesting. $15K is still steep for a 23 TS - I guess the market is what people will pay !

I was thinking the Gard Bros on the tank would add to its' value for a South Australian buyer, if it was original - but looking at it again it is obvious the tank has been repainted, so who knows if it is original? And indeed, at $15,000 it's still a high price for a 20s 2 3/4hp

fairly normal for fleabay .. asking price and real market price can be miles apart plus for most cars and bikes its definitely a buyers market at the moment
