Dragonfly query

Hi everybody please could you help me and my father in lawn the 60's he brought a Dragonfly for 10s (50p) as the previous owner could not get the timing right, and today he was telling me all about it and said it was shaft driven but after searching i could not find a shaft driven Dragonfly,do they exists or had somebody modified the bike, he is vert technical minded so it's not something he thought was there, would love to no any info.  Thanks

A Dragonfly was not really a "10 bob" bike in the 1960s. Could it have been an Endeavour? Interesting and rare, a Douglas with shaft drive. https://www.douglasmotorcycles.net/index.php?topic=1595.0

Possibly Velocette LE or Valiant as both are shaft drive and the Valiant is quite similar to a Dragonfly!
