Title: Douglas Mk5 Angle of rake for frame headstock.

I am having my frame straightened on a motorliner jig.

The engineer has requested the following information before he proceeds with the work.

Please, does anybody know the angle of rake for the headstock on a Douglas mk5 frame?

Hi,
     I cannot help with the angle of the steering head, but if your frame has been bent by having the forks pushed back, not only will the top tubes and down tubes be bent, but most likely, the bottom tubes will also be bent where they enter the lugs that carry the swinging arm. Pushing the forks back tends to cant the frame forward at the top. The damage to the bottom tubes is not evident until the torsion bars are removed. Sighting up through the tubes, any bend can soon be spotted. Also, the downtubes will probably be bent about 1½" from the steering head lug (where the internal strengthening sleeve ends)
