1928 Douglas EW carb heat pipe

Can anyone post  pictures of an original carb heat pipe for the above, with dimensions, please? Mine is missing, and my toolmaker friend needs these . Thanks

You mean the one that is easily made from a small exhaust pipe?

The pipe which goes from the carb to just above the rear cylinder.

Thats it I think I used a length of tiger cub exhaust pipe with a cast clip

Can be formed using a plumbers bending spring out of a piece of 22mm copper pipe which you can anneal and flare at the end. I made mine that way. A spring will cost you about £4 and 2m of copper pipe about £7 assuming you cannot find an off cut.

does any one know where to get the collar that screws the air intake pipe to the carb from please? david
