Have you tried the new Drafts feature yet? I just lost a long message today and learned my lesson. It is a good idea to save a draft of any long post you are writing. You can then just keep writing and keep saving a draft, knowing you have a backup if there is a glitch. The draft is automatically deleted when you post the message.

Hi George,

Note that your fork is assembled incorrectly. Properly assembled, you might find that one of your fork springs is correct so you can get a couple of new ones wond at your local spring works.

Do you have a plan for the bike? Please don't start with the sandblaster...

Leon,
I had another person on another group forum point out the incorrectly assembled front fork...I recently purchased this bike and had no idea... my plan it to keep the bike as original as found patina ... only fixing or correcting to make it as original as possible... it is not perfect but definitely a nice survivor. I do believe I may have found a fork spring and saddle bracket for the front break ...after reading your response to my question on the carburetor... I have to add that to my list of things to find. Thanks for your help!!
