Roy:

Happy New Year to you, also, and to all other Douglas owners and lovers. (I'm assuming you mean lovers of Douglas bikes). My best wishes also go out to our members from Queensland, Aus. who appear to be enjoying a great swimming season, if not riding. I hope they and their families and friends are all safe and dry.

Yes David,
The Qld floods have got considerably worse since your posting. We are lucky here being in one of the few Wide Bay towns unaffected by flooding. That is in our homes. However a great deal of repairs from local flooding to our roads and crossings wont allow our council workers much time to lean on their shovels when they return from holidays.

regards Alan

Alan, I would like to assure you that our thoughts are with you and the folks in the stricken parts of Qld,.
It is horrific to see all the news/pictures coming out of Aus.
