Help needed to identify parts in Photo

Hi cleaning out some boxes and found these

I will hazard a couple of guesses...

The big plate is from the front of a postwar magneto?

The three little pieces are from a speedo, the knurled knob is the trip meter reset?

The item with the short bit of wire looks like the waterproof contact breaker cover for a Lucas magneto, such as used in competition and trials. I have one such sitting here on the floor missing said cover.

Hi Daren,
               The cover with the wire attached is the points cover for a Lucas K2F magneto (as fitted to 1950/60's 500/650 BSA twins, etc) and the larger flat plate looks like a homemade adaptor plate to fit one of these mags to the back of the timing chest on a Mark series engine (similar to the setup on the racing Plus's). Maybe the small helical gear was part of the rev counter drive on the same setup! As for the two smaller pins - they could be almost anything.

Bugger, I thought the sealed cap was for the comp. magneto. That means this mag I have been stubbing my toe on is just a plain garden variety BSA job. Oh well, will not make a difference for what I plan to put it on.
