I am parting together a 26 ew... I have just picked up a magneto...(still works!) the drive gear...is there any special type?? the person I bought it from said maybe some sort of special centre??
the tapered shaft is cut for a key?? does my mag gear need a keyway...if so how would you set the timing...or is just the universal 180 magneto?
basically my question...what does the mag drive gear look like??
the mag does throw a pair of good sparks...but I am sure it will need a rewind
