Maintenance of the Douglas 2 3/4 hp upto 1925

My father Frank Dolman, who was the LDMCC President, was writing a book about the maintenance of the Douglas 2 3/4 hp pre 1925 at the time of his death in July 2022.  I have typed up his handwritten notes and would like to share his knowledge with other Douglas owners.  It is very much written in his words which I rather like so have left it as it is; simply corrected spelling and grammar.  I hope you find it useful.
