Have you tried the new Drafts feature yet? I just lost a long message today and learned my lesson. It is a good idea to save a draft of any long post you are writing. You can then just keep writing and keep saving a draft, knowing you have a backup if there is a glitch. The draft is automatically deleted when you post the message.

I've just got a 1914 2.75. It has a slow puncture in the rear. I had to take the gearbox off to take the (leather) belt off to take the wheel out. Is that normal do you think?
Also where (in the UK) would you suggest to get a new 26x2.5 tyre?
Thanks.

eddie

I just pull the belt over the side of the belt rim as I slowly turn the wheel.
Tyres are normally available from Vintage Tyres, Beaulieu Motor Museum.

Have you thought about joining The London Douglas Club -see attached details. Also seeing you live in Hampshire you might like to come along even as a guest at this stage to our regular monthly club meeting which is this Thursday (28th November) starting at 7.30pm. We meet at Seale Village Hall, School Hill, Seale, Nr Farnham, Surrey, GU10 1HY. Hope we might see you there.
