douglas EW 350 bottom end
« on: 30 Dec 2021 at 14:35 »
Any suggestions/recommendations for a UK Douglas mechanic I have stripped my EW350 (1926) to renew the guides and pistons but I detect some play in the bigend  I think with my current workload thats a bridge to far. If I cant find someone who has all the equipment and knowlege I will just have to be satisfied with a top end overhaul

In past restorations I have discarded the roller set up and fitted a complete ball race. I have been told that this is as strong as the original.
regards Alan

Alpha bearings will recondition your crank no problem.
