This is really for the attention of Doug Frost. Hello Doug, tried to e-mail but to no effect, re the second paragraph of your editorial.
If you buy a rotor arm for a Vauxhall Viva from say eBay for about £3-50, you will find it is almost identical to the Miller item. The difference is a key inside the body and no steel tube and pin.
You could easily scavenge the metal parts which are identical, hoping that your old body is not tracking. Alternatively, why not turn up a tube (I used Dural), drill a hole to accept a pin, then file a slot the other end at 180 degrees to fit the key.
It worked for me, sadly it still goes onto one cylinder when it feels like it. One day I will remove distributor and relace bushes with bearings. What a shame the distribtor doesn't pull out without removing the timing gear!
