Douglas t6 tank pads
« on: 04 May 2024 at 13:07 »
Hello everyone, my Douglas tank is under repair, and the tank pads were not original.
Does anyone have any photos of how the original pads are fitted to the fuel tank?
Also be good if somone have fuel tank foto without pads
Greetings from Scotland

If you are a member of the LDMCC, the tank rubbers can be obtained from the prewar spares scheme (item 40 in the spares list). The rubbers fit on steel plates that have a single bolt fixing to the side of the tank. I have attached a photo of the side of a T6 prior to restoration showing the single fixing for the tank rubber.

  Regards,
               Eddie.
