That's a a particularly nice one. I wonder what date it is, with more cylinder fins than you'd expect on a pre-1919 Douglas?

As of today (July 1, 2017) South Australia has the highest power prices in the world, overtaking Denmark. The lights have gone out twice in the past year, so maybe a Douglas/Marconi genset in the shed is the answer!

Thanks Daren. Sounds great, but I want to see the electricity coming out!! I see from the badge on the ebay listing that it would deliver AC (10A / 75V at 190 Hz) or DC (15A / 24V) DC - I reckon you could light a "ye olde lamp post" for the garden.
