Carburetor identification CW Douglas

Can someone please assist in the identification of this carburetor. Hopefully picture is attached. I am assuming its a AMAC but the only markings I can find is 9953 on the underside of the float chammber. I have been unable to identify the model to work out what is missing. From a 1926 CW Douglas I have resently purchased.

Hi Darryl,

The specs for 1926 say "Semi-automatic Douglas or AMAC carburettor, according to supplies, providing great flexibility and wonderful acceleration".

The usual AMAC for the CW was the T20VD, but yours is not one of these. By elimination, I suppose it is the Douglas item.

Used c1924-1926, mostly on the CW.

The lever illustrated is AMAC - I just found a very ratty one in the shed. Yell if you need it.

Thank you for assistance the information was extremely helpful. As I am trying piece together what the bike is missing, which I have had a little difficulty in doing as there appears to be no workshop manual or illustrated parts manual available that I can go by. So mainly looking at pictures of completed bikes. Yes I would be interested the controller. I am also looking for the complete gear changer from tank to gearbox and rear brake rod, linkage and the front brake linkage from brake to cable. Not sure if I giving the you right descriptions as I am very new to this era of bike. If you know where I would be able source these parts please let me know. Looking closer, I see the levers are similar to AMAC, but probably "Douglas". I suppose Douglas made them in house, but they could have been supplied from outside.

Photos of all the "Douglas" lever bits and pieces from the shed. I've sent you an email.
