1930 s6?
« on: 17 Jan 2020 at 13:12 »
Hi, I’ve been offered a s6 basket case, unfortunately it has no documentation, the frame number is yf1493 could anyone advise me if this is from 1930 and what is the best course of action to get it registered?

YF would be a frame prefix for the T6/S5/S6 models. Given the number, it might have been built into 1931. If the front forks have a single compression spring, it is a S5 or S6, if it has two extension springs it is a T6.
