As you sit on the bike (in this case a 1913) and look down at the engine, does it matter if the left rod or right rod goes to the front cylinder? When I dismantled mine the left rod (closest to the flywheel) went to the front cylinder. I don't want to ASSUME this was the factory as built configuration. I think the motor is mirror image and the con rod orientation should not matter but I don't want to have an "oh shit" moment based on my inexperience with these machines.
