T35 carbrueter tuning.
« on: 16 Mar 2014 at 14:55 »
I would like to retune the carbs on my 1950 T35. Is there any hints and tips to make this easier please.
Thanks Keith.

Remove the brass jet block from the bottom of the carb.

In the lower rear if the block is a countersunk hole that has a very, very small hole at the bottom of it.  I have seldom seen an instrument that has been standing for any length of time where this hole (or its matching holes in the main body) are clear, carefully clean it out or you will not be able to set the pilot screws to obtain a reliable tickover and clean pickup.
