Just to let the readers of this post know -
I have set rear wheel spacers to suit the fit of the brake arm shoulder screw, and align the sprockets. I've adjusted the spokes so that the wheel is central in the swinging arm and in line with the front wheel.

Hi BrmBrm,

If you're a LDMCC member, you could write to Frank Dolman who is Tech contact. He will reply with the information you need. I know this works!

Cheers,

Hi Brm, My Rear wheel was assembled with a 15/8" offset twixt rim and brake drum. I took that measurement from an old assembled wheel so I guess it's right. anyway It worked for my bike ! Sorry I did'nt answer your request earlier.  Eric

Hi Chippy, many thanks for your reply.
Is the 1-5/8" dimension from the edge of the wheel rim to the outer (open) edge of the brake drum?

Again, many thanks for taking the trouble to reply.
Dave

Hi Brm, Yes, Wheel less the spindle laid on the bench drum down , then measure between bench and rim. should measure 15/8. just for information the front wheel measured in the same way should be 3/8" hope this is helpful. regards Eric.
