I saw this on an American Vintage ( Antique) motorcycle site , and thought you may find it interesting.

American video, but the site is the Antique Motorcycle Club of Australia.
This is fantastic if it really works as he says - I have had many horrible experiences putting on beaded edge tyres over the years. I'd be surprised if it worked with Dunlop tyres however - they are unbelievably stiff in the side walls and are a real nightmare to fit.
Another trick I always try to do is to put the tyre up onto the garage roof in the sun so that it heats up and gets a bit softer - this makes a huge difference and allows most tyres to be pushed on with your hands. I have also used fish oil on the rim to make it slippery - won't rust the rim either like soap or the stuff they use in tyre shops. You hands certainly stink for a while afterwards though!
Cheers, Graeme
