Hello all
« on: 24 Jul 2017 at 16:09 »
Hope I'm doing this right    :o
A big hello to all members, after many years of Sunbeam ownership I am currently deciding on a 1926 EW 350, the price seems ok at £8500, but I'm struggling to find "workshop" information and anywhere that supplies parts. I don't expect the bike needs anything, but after several restorations, and purchasing of "I've just finished restoring it" bikes I know to expect the unexpected.

Regards

Hi Peter,
Welcome aboard.
I have an EW350 and have found it a really nice bike to ride. Having said that I rode my mates Sunbeam model 9 the other day and like that too.
The EW is a very different ride. As for spares, the LDMCC do some useful bits but I would not have got by without the help of this forum and my trusty lathe.

Thanks for the reply Andy, I was a member of another marques club for ten years, didn't get any response to the 3 or 4 posts I made, so I gave up.

for the ew...most of the bits are easy enough to make... and seems to be enough parts around for at least a good pattern..

Artur, you may already know, but that registration number was issued in the London area between 1922 & 1927.
