Mk 3 Sport paint

I wondered if anyone knows whether the original bikes had the raised centre of the wheel rim painted blue?
I have seen this done on some photos of restored bikes but don't see evidence of it on others.

Also, does anyone have a reference for the light blue paint colour?

After a thorough search of the forum, my thanks to whomever posted Triumph Tahiti Blue as a close match to the Mk 3 Sport tank colour. I really like this shade of blue from my Triumph car days and it is also available from PPG in the USA.
So Tahiti Blue it is!
