Side stand On T35 Models
« on: 28 Aug 2015 at 17:03 »
Can anyone help with informations - photos - drawing - measures  for Douglas sidestand.
I had seen a sidestand fixed to the frame at front torsion bar point.

I would like to reproduce such a stand for 90Plus and MK5.

Michael get in touch with John Holmes in Scotland he is a LDMC member and made  for me very good side stand for my Mark V, It works very well and fastens to the front end of the LHS Torsion Bar tube.

I've only had my Mark for a couple of months but have already given up trying to use the centre stand. So I was in the garage over the weekend with various bits of old prop stands and after plenty of filing, drilling and welding came up with this. Pleased with the results and now I can stop for petrol without having to book a doctor's appointment for a hernia.
