Hi I've just purchased a Douglas 1936 250 aero on ebay, is the colour scheme fro this model black on blue and how do I dentify the correct tank size ?

Congratulations,

I saw the add myself and was sorely tempted. I am pretty certain that the colour scheme for the Aero was black and blue.

Yes I've always wanted a douglas , I was really after a earlier flattank, but I'm quite pleased with the bike (as I'm limited with finance), I think I need to source some original bits, but i want to get it up and on the road as soon as poss. I learnt my lesson restoring a Scott spent too much time trying to get it all perfect (20 years !!, having a family in between).
