Do you want an appraisal on the value of the bike, or are you selling it?

Hi Sam. Asking the value, even an average price, of a bike is like asking how long is a piece of string. It will depend upon the condition and originality, whether or not it has the original registration, whether it has an interesting history and many other factors. A photograph might give a better idea of what we are being asked to value. Chris.

The value as a 1911 is questionable, since it appears to be a 1924-25 all-chain drive model CW!  :o

I DO NOT ABOUT THE MOTORCYCLE ,IVE WRITTEN 1911 CAUSE IT SAYS ON THE BIKE,SO IF YOUR SURE ITS A 1924 ,THEN I ASK MY FRIEND ABOUT IT,
WHERE COULD WE SEE THE REAL YEAR OF THE BIKE.
THANKS ,IF IT IS REALLY 1924 HOW MUCH WILL IT BE WORTH IN THAT CONDITION?
Thank you
SAM

If you let me have the frame number I will probably be able to say whether it is 1924 or 1925. I agree with Doug that it is one or the other. It also has non original properties. The footboards are apparently made from sheet instead of alloy castings and it does not appear to have a front brake mechanism or the dummy rim on the front wheel. The saddle is not standard nor the toolboxes.
The frame number can be found on the right hand side of the large cast lug above the gearbox. Engine number can be found on the angled part of the rear crankcase behind the magneto. Chris.

I do not do valuations (I stick to identification of models and years), but look on the bright side, as 1924-25 CW there are bound to be more examples that have sold recently via advertisements or auctions to get an idea of the current value. I have not seen many pre-1912 machines come up for sale, as there are far fewer of them than WW1 and twenties models.
