Douglas 4hp
« on: 17 Sep 2023 at 04:51 »
Hello, I am seeking expressions of interest in my fathers 1922 4hp. He has been gone for nearly 10 years now and although he wanted me to keep it, its been in storage ever since and is likely to stay that way unless someone else takes it over. I am based in New Zealand. It was going when he passed but will need re- restoring. The front brake has been converted to a drum for the sake of safety, I believe from a later Matchless. I'm fairly sure the stirrup brake and original front wheel are there. I will get some photos up when I list it proper.

Thanks for your message, Rob, I can't reply on that message you used.
There are no spare clutch parts as far as I can remember.
Cheers,
Bernie.

Good afternoon, Bernie,

I am interested in belt drive motorcycles. I have several in my collection, but Douglas is missing. That's why I would like to buy some of  Douglas  motorcycle and I was very interested in your ad. I would like to ask if your machine is still available for sale?

Thank you very much in advance for your reply.
