Mk 5 Tappets

My tappets are dished by 6-8 thou. Assuming that they are case hardened is there enough depth of hardness for me to grind back?

Jeffen,
There should be enough depth of case for you to regrind your tappets - assuming, of course, that they have not already been reground. There are normally case hardened to a depth of about 20 -25 thou.
Regards,
Eddie.
