MKIV Gasket kits?
« on: 21 Feb 2022 at 17:15 »
Hello,
I am the proud owner of a 1951 MKIV, and am looking for either a complete gasket kit or where to get some gaskets for the engine and gearbox. Hoping there is a complete kit available before I have to go make my own (specifically the gearbox cover gasket,#21 on Plate 15 of Douglas Spares book). Usually when I get a gasket I try to get any others I may need in the future.
I am located in Atlanta, GA, USA. I have no problem buying from overseas (well, it's overseas for me), and am loking for the best source of parts for a MkIV. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Richard

Hi Richard,

Welcome to the forum.
If you’re a member of the LDMCC all engine and gearbox gaskets are available to purchase from the club.
There is also now a list of all post-war spares available to members on the club’s website:

All the best,

David
