Hi I've just dismantled what has turned out to be a very dirty, just on an inch of sludge in the sump, engine from either a T6 or S6 I'm not sure which engine and this has thrown up a question.
The wavy spring washer fitted to the flywheel end of the crank shaft, which side of the bearing should it be? The engine I have just been working on has the washer trapped flattened behind the bearing in the crank case whilst my Model Z came with the similar washer on the other side between the oil thrower and the flywheel end bearing.
