Mk5 clutch actuation

Hi I need the 3 small hardened rollers that are on the clutch actuation mechanism for my Mk5 ref plate 14 ,can I use silver steel suitably machined and then hardened and tempered.
Any advice most welcome

Hi Colin have had my MkV stripped to the last nut and bolt and I would do as you say, use silver steel to re make those rollers part no 11222, if you have the dimensions ? I could help if needed. Cheers Phil.

Hi thanks for the reply and the offer,I have some existing rollers but with lots of wear on the bores so I am Ok for the sizes it was the material I needed advice on

Colin: If you can locate a piece of chain that has the inside of the rollers at 6mm these will do wonderfylly! regards Jumbo

Colin,
I used the rollers of a 3/8 x 1/4" chain for replacing these rollers.
