1951 MKV rocker box covers
« on: 26 Jun 2019 at 17:45 »
Hi, I was just busy following John Holmes instructions today for  method to seal rocker box covers but the covers on my MKV have no 'Douglas' name cast into the cover which he states that all rocker boxes have. Are mine reproductions or is he mistaken? The bike started life as an export to France

I'm new to Douglas's myself, but I think it was only the Mk1's (T35) that had "Douglas" on the covers.... something to do with change of plug position that resulted in indent required to top of cover and thus no "Douglas" on the MkIII onwards.....Mines a MKIII and mine doesn't have it on there.....
