Modified Post Dragonfly A60 Generator Wiring Colours

Sorry everybody, the wire from the stator that I thought was Black is in fact Brown.
So this is as the Miller wiring diagram.
My problem is that someone extended the Brown stator wire with a yellow wire
Yellow stator wire with a Brown wire
At the moment (stator removed from bike) the green stator wire is not extended.

So at the moment I'm thinking that the Green, Brown, Yellow wires on the Miller diagram should be the same colour at the stator.
Does this sound correct?

Directly out of the generator stator windings I have a Black, a yellow, a green wire.
The stator windings are grouped as 2 and 4 and I have the Drg2166 Miller wiring diagram.
These wires then connect to different colour wires which I am not confident of.
So for the Brown stator wire, does it go to Switch Terminal 2 or 4 or rectifier terminal 1 ?
Yellow to  Switch Terminal 2 or 4 or rectifier terminal 1 ?
Green to  Switch Terminal 2 or 4 or rectifier terminal 1 ?

Firstly, there are 2versions of drawing 2166 in circulation - one shows the alternator internal wiring incorrectly - it shows all 6 coils connected as one bank (there should not be a link across the outside of the coils at 5 o'clock).
 Having said that, the correct wiring diagram shows the 3 output wires as being brown, green and yellow. The brown wire connects the inside of all 6 coils to one side of the rectifier. The yellow wire connects the group of 2 coils to switch terminal 4. The green wire connects the group of 4 coils to switch terminal 2.

I'll correct my extended wire colours to conform to the stator wire colours.
My Drg. 2166 is the 4 bobbins, and 2 bobbins variety - although the photocopy is a bit spotty!
Just checking now the possible increase generator output option.

If you are looking for greater output, fitting a solid state rectifier will provide a much improved charge rate. My Dragonfly has a standard Miller generator linked up to a solid state rectifier and easily keeps the battery charged - even during long night rides on full headlight.

That's great.
That means I'll keep the generator standard.
Extend the wires with the same colour as the stator colours.
Re-assemble the generator and cover etc.
Sort out a solid-state rectifier after.
Any recommendations?

I bought mine over 20 years ago from Maplins. I see they still list a similar unit (10 amp Bridge Rectifier KBPC 1002) for just £2.49 - can't be bad!! You will need to mount it on a piece of aluminium sheet (about 4" sq x 1/8" thick) to act as a heat sink - they can get quite hot!

There is a voltage regulator - it's manually operated! As you turn the lighting/ignition switch, you vary the load and at the same time vary the output of the alternator by selecting either 2, 4, or 6 coils.
