After a lot of work I had the first test-ride on my MK4. What a great Feeling. Besides, not everything is perfect. Because of a carburettor-problem one cylinder is about 50 degrees (Celsius) colder. I will fix it later. The brakes were very poor, too. I had relined them, but the braking surface could not satisfy. Fortunately, my old lathe surprisingly had the perfect tools to fix the anchor plate. First I tried to work with a HSS-steel, but carbide works much better. The difference in braking force is great!
