is it possible to fit a p/n 37615 silencer to a Mk1 to replace silencer (muffler box) p/n 29790 under gearbox?

Alan,
Yes, the barrel silencers can be fitted in lieu of the 'waffle box', but you will also need the later exhaust pipes, and if your bike still has the original wide stand, you will need a later narrow stand (so that it misses the silencers).

  Regards,
               Eddie.

I converted my MKV. A kind soul gave me the silencers & I got the pipes from Armours of Bournemouth. You can probably make the frame clips for the pipes.
