« on: 14 Jun 2013 at 13:04 »
Dear All
I'm looking for exhaust pipes (left and right) for my MK III 1948. Bike is in unrestored condition and I want to keep them as is. Is anybody who has pipes for sale in good condition? Where I can find new one (replica) in UK ? I will be grateful for answer.
best regards Artur from Poland

Hi Artur,
Check out this site

http://www.armoursltd.co.uk/Armours/catalogue_and_prices.html

Armours have them listed. I have used Armours for other pipes and silencers and found them to fit well and be of good quality.
I suggest you give them a call or email.
On another issue, could you post a few photos of your fuel tank, so I can see how it is lined out?
Mine has been overpainted blue enamel but underneath it looks as if it was originally painted like yours.
Regards
Clinton

Hello, my name is Bob and I joined the forum because I have some exhaust pipes that fit Douglas cycles.
The information I have tells me that the pipes fit a T35 model and a Dragonfly (under sump muffler).
These pipes have never been installed and are still in the factory wrapping.
The pipes are chrome plated and were manufactured in England.
Please let me know if there is any interest in these pipes.

Thank You,

Bob

Arturo,

I will see what I can do for pictures.
I have measured the pipe that appears to be most like yours'.
I will describe and dimension using a shepherds hook as model.
The outside diameter is 33.3mm, long leg of hook is 533.4mm, out side to outside of hook is 190mm, short leg of hook is 163.5mm.
There is a threaded boss located 305mm from the end of the long leg.
Do these dimensions seem to match what you have?

Regards.

Bob
