Hi All,
Excuse my ignorance but what spanner size is correct for Douglas and where can they be sourced?

Hi Simon
The spanner sets for some Douglas models are illustrated in their respective parts list. Examples of individual items frequently appear on ebaY and may often be found at swap meets. I am not aware of suppliers of many of the items but two special items for the pre-war machines are available by members from the LDMCC Spares Scheme. These are the special spanner for adjusting the notched tappet adjusting nut on S/T 5/6 and derivatives from 1930 on and the 'C' spanner' for the inlet /exhaust locking nuts. There may also be some remaining spanners from the Dragonfly set in the Post War spares Scheme. Chris.
